Dalziel Communication Services is owned and operated by Anna Dalziel, Registered Speech-Language Pathologist.
Anna graduated from the University of Alberta in 2006, with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with Distinction. In 2008, she graduated from the University of Alberta for a second time with a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology, with Distinction.
Anna has worked with children with severe speech and language delays for the past 13 years. She has worked in a variety of settings: in the classroom, in a health unit, and through teletherapy. Since 2014, she has been working as a private contractor, supporting children ages 3-6. She works closely with students, parents, and school staff in order to provide the best outcomes for her students!
Anna is passionate about using play to teach because children learn when they are having fun! There are often a lot of laughs in Anna's therapy room. Anna incorporates therapy into fun, engaging play-based activities. Sessions may include books, games, treasure hunts, songs, sensory bins, toys, and crafts. While it may look like your child is 'just playing', rest assured that they are learning in the way that most natural to them - through play!
